cannot pause recording when downloaded to phone

i recorded cassettes (books on tape) using audacity.... exported as wav to my computer....transferred to my phone... my problem is that i cant pause the books, fast fwd., or rewind on my phone.

If you can do that with other "books," then you need to find out the sound format that the other books use. Not all sound formats support everything. Even if you have sound formats that all give excellent sound, some may support music labels better than others, or some may be more widely accepted.

thank you. i think i need to export as mp3 but i dont really know how. i guess i will try to figure out.

I removed your accidental double posting.

You need to download and install the "lame" software package. Audacity will not export MP3 by itself.
