Audacity Forum

Just downloaded Audacity and having problems recording the audio from youtube. I can get it to record but the sound has an awful echo when played back. Any "detailed" help and instructions would be appreciated.

Should be easy.

Open Aduacity, click Edit -> Preferences -> Audio I/O tab. Make sure "Software Playthrough" is turned OFF.
