Blue Screen IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I just installed the Audacity software 1.2.6. I installed it from a disk that came with hardware to record MP3's from cassettes. As soon as I installed the hardware, I got a blue screen with the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. The STOP code is 0x0000000A. Some research as shown that there is compatability issues with the software. Makes sense, since it happened as soon as I installed the software. I un-installed the software, but it doesn't help. Any suggestions??

Do you mean that you still get the error when you reboot?

What operating system are you using?

Yes, I get the issue when I re-boot.

I run Windows XP on this PC

Was anything else installed from that disk?

Can you do a system restore?
