I have several related questions
Is it possible to use Audacity to search a waveform for each occurance of a word in a soundtrack like speech recognition. This would be like searching for a silent section or a pop or click but more complicated.
Is it then possible to use Audacity to insert something in this same spot without changing the total length
Can this be automated?

I'm goin' with no. I don't know any software package that can recognize words that didn't start out doing that such as Dragon Voice Recognition or Strictly Speaking--and they're not audio editors.
