I got 2 Projects, each with about 150 different songs separated by... "Label Track"-labels.
I want the final products (the 300 Mp3 files) to be tagged properly (Title, Artist, Album).
Is there any way to do this easily in audacity? Like for instance writing the label track in a specific format like "Title;Artist;Album" and have Audacity interpret it as tags for that song? Or is my best bet to simply use a software designed specifically for tagging (i.e. have them tagged after exported)?
Thanks
2 projects, 300 songs. Most effective way to tag properly?

Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Yes, that's your best bet. Tagging in Audacity is OK for occasional use, but there's no way I'd use it for 300 songs.BrutalAl wrote:Or is my best bet to simply use a software designed specifically for tagging (i.e. have them tagged after exported)?

Those are very big projects for Audacity to work with (unless the songs are very short) - just take care when working with such large projects. Personally I don't like to work with anything much over two hours in a single project.
