Clicks in Sound recorded via Mixer
New to Audacity 1.2.3. When running Windows 7 on my PC and recording music with Mixer as input device I get clicking sounds in playback. This does not happen using my laptop running XP. Is this a Microsoft feature to discourage recording streaming sound or a sound card issue?

If you capture some work on your Windows 7 machine and export a WAV file, does that file play funny on your Windows XP machine?
