Download question

I clicked download and nothing happened. I have downloaded many things and usually there is some sort of pop up dialog box or a bar that shows the in progress download etc. What am I missing??

Click on the link where it says:

"Recommended Download

I have Windows XP and have tried downloading Audacity 1.2.6 from the Source Forge site. When I click on the 1.2.6 button all I get is a message saying that Audacity downloading will start shortly. On one occasion I waited for an hour and nothing happened. I have now been trying for two dys to download this programme. What is wrong? Should I be downloading 1.3.1

It may have been a temporary glitch on their server, but since you are here - yes I'd definitely recommend downloading the 1.3 version. Use the link I mentioned in my previous post.
