I was looking forward to a holiday converting my vinyl to digital.

PROBLEM 1:
I can't register the product as the US site doesn't accept UK addresses and I can't find another site.

PROBLEM 2:
The turntable is turning too fast for 33rpm despite being set to the right speed.

PROBLEM 3:
When I start EZVinylConverter i get a loud noise out of my PC like a machine gun.

Using Vista.

Any help will be appreciated.

Ok this is the Audacity forum and thus deals with Audacity issues ...

P1) Audacity is free open-source software - open to all to download and use for free - if you are having toi register, it ain't Audacity.
You can download Audacity from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/

p2) that is a problem for the store that you bought the TT from and thence onwards for the manufacturer (whoever that is -you do not say) - but if it is a belt driven TT than I would start off by checking that the belt is installed and sited correctly (consult the manual for your TT).

P3) That is a question you will have to raise with the folks who run and look after EZVinylConverter - which is a different piece of software altogether and nothing to do with Audacity.

I'm guessing that you have an ION TT as they bundle Audacity and EZVinylConverter with their USB TTs. If that is the case then you don't need EZVinylConverter at all - you can do it all in Audacity. If you chosse to do this See: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php? ... turntables
