Hi,
When I record the music comes out awesome. However the vocal track comes out sounding like the singer is singing from inside a tin can. I looked through different options but I haven't found where I can fix the problem can you help me. I am recording the albums through the usb port on the computer. Help me out please..

Does it still sound like that if you listen through headphones?

Dig in Audacity preferences and make sure you are using specifications of Stereo, 16-bit, 44100. Audacity 1.2 wakes up from first birthday in Mono and 32-bit floating, both awkward settings for what you want to do.

Change the settings and then restart Audacity.

I don't think that's going to change anything, but we need to step through the process. This problem is usually caused by a broken or damaged wire inside the turntable. If the right wire breaks, performers in the center of the stage cancel out.
