Problem with burning audio-CD with Nero 7

Hello,
This may not be a Audacity question, but I' ll post it anyway. I am still a bit of a newbie in converting vinyl albums into audio-CD's.
I managed to make a recording from an album and exported it as a WAV-file. The recording is in stereo, quality -96dB. So far, so good.
Now i'm trying to burn the file(s) using Nero 7.9.6.0 (tried other versions too). Nero won't add the file(s) to the list, because "this/these file(s) may be corrupted". Another message I got was "file(s) are protected". I can't tell wether this means copyright-protected or protected by Windows (?).
I could not find any answers in the forum or the Wiki, so please, if you have a suggestion ...
Thx,
MarBra
