just installed audacity but....

....I just got a new PC w/ windows7 OS....I installed audacity from my other PC via external memory stick....I got it installed and it records but the input menu doesn't scroll down when I move the cursor over it...I'm not online right now thaT'S why I had to get it from my other pc what am I doing wrong?
