Way to set Mike volume higher?

Post by Jack777 » Sat Dec 05, 2009 2:59 am

Hey, just curious if there's a mod or something to set input volume higher...

Something like a permanent amplify, adjusting the volume 3-6db Everytime, is a pain in the ass

(XP's sound setting are a joke, max volume everywhere, +20db gain, and it still doesn't hit the -12 on Audacity's db meter)

Either way, Thanks for your time and have a great day,
-J

That's quite important - The "20 dB boost" in your sound card settings is only for conventional microphones that plug into the sound card. It has no effect on USB microphones. To set the recording level for the blue snowball microphone, see here: http://www.bluemic.com/snowball/ and look under "FAQ".
