Hey, just curious if there's a mod or something to set input volume higher...
Something like a permanent amplify, adjusting the volume 3-6db Everytime, is a pain in the ass
(XP's sound setting are a joke, max volume everywhere, +20db gain, and it still doesn't hit the -12 on Audacity's db meter)

That's quite important - The "20 dB boost" in your sound card settings is only for conventional microphones that plug into the sound card. It has no effect on USB microphones.
