I purchased the ION tt and have enjoyed ripping all my old vinyl but I do have a question.
I have a problem with some of the music clipping. I have the gain turned all the way down on the tt but still no luck.
Any suggestions?

Re: Clipping
I'm surprised - I used to run an ION ITT-USB a while back and for vinyl I never had to turn down the gain control (I did for a couple of cassette tapse though curiously) and it recorded absolutely fine without clipping.
Are you sure you've got it turned all the way down and not all the way up? Can you test varying the gainn control knob on the ION while a record is playing ang you are recording to Audacity - difficult, I know, given the awkward position of the gain control - and if so does vaying the gain control vary the signal level at all?
