Hi:

Thanks for that info on titling or the lack thereof -- that's going to save me a lot of figuring out 'how to do it' time.

As was pointed out as a possibility, at least on my Roxio 6 player the titles are indeed there.

Being as I was, with a lot of help from the forum, able to successfully migrate a cassette tape to CD using Audacity 1.2.6, is there any compelling reason to upgrade to Audacity 1.3.9 at this time being as I have another 15-20 series of my 1940's Big Band Cassettes (made by me from LP's 30 or so years ago) still to go.

If it will help me with the balance of the project then I most certainly want to do the upgrade.

Thanks again ...
Kent

If you have an earlier version of Audacity that works and you're happy using it, then stay right there. We're still fighting weird instabilities with the higher versions and Stable 2.0 isn't here yet.

Some CD burning software supports "CD Text". This embeds artist, album and track title information in the header block of the CD. Some CD players can read and display this (my car CD player does). But iTunes ignores CD text, as do most media players.
