HELP!! MAJOR PROBLEM CAUSED PROBABLY BY AUDACITY

Hi, I have a major problem where ALL my media (music, videos, etc) are slowed down.
I have no idea what caused this, but I think it's Audacity, since I do not have any other program that allows me to slow down media.

I like to import my MP3 and alter them so that I get a more, pleasurable music experience, but i never thought it would slow down my movies as well

I would really hate to reacquire these movies. Please help!!

Which version of Audacity exactly? Describe the computer. Which Windows? Memory? Processor? Laptop? Drive size?

All i did was restart my computer....

I very much doubt that it had anything to do with Audacity. More likely that your computer was critically low on resources and on the point of crashing.
