I'm having a problem with the basic task of moving the cursor in the editing window. It always seems to go into select mode when I try to move it. I'm obviously missing something very obvious! Help would be appreciated. The help file is lacking in this area.
This is some of the best free software I've ever seen. Many thanks to its creators.

Click+Drag to select.
Click (no drag) to place the cursor.
