I have read other posts using the Time Shift tool but have been unable to get it to work in my situation. I have upgraded to ver 1.3.9

My recording has about 85 tracks. Near the top I have one track that over laps another. So I want to move this track over and and have all the rest below this slide over automatically.

I select the track I want to move with my cursor and then hold it and scroll down to the last track. This selects all of the tracks.

Then I click the TIme shift tool and move the track over, however none of the other tracks follow. I really don't want to have to go through

80 tracks and manually adjust them.

I tried the Tracks menu using various Align Track options but this did not work either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well I managed to find one solution. I was not selecting the tracks correctly. I needed to place the cursor in audio section of the track then drag across it and then down to highlight all the tracks. However, their must be a better way or shortcut. I tried the edit menu but only found the Select All. This does not help if I want to move track 50 - 85

You can move focus from one track to the next with the up/down cursor keys.
You can toggle select/unselect for the track with focus by pressing the ENTER key.

Example:
To select all tracks except for track 1
Click on Track 1 with the normal selection tool (track 1 now has focus)
Ctrl+A (or "Select All" from the menu - All tracks are now selected - track 1 still has focus
Press ENTER - track 1 is deselected.

F1 to F6 keys change the "tool"

F1 key = normal selection tool.
F5 key = time shift tool
