Me and my friend are starting a podcast.
We've just purchased 2 Logitech USB Headset Microphones.
Is there anyway, on audicity or otherwise, we can record both inputs at the same time.
We don't have a mixer just a laptop!!!
Cheers
Jack

Re: Record 2 inputs with USB mic
Audacity will only record from one device at a time.
You may be able to record from more than one USB microphone with other programs (note that I say "may" and not "will").
You do not have to record both parts at the same time. You could record one person, then stop, then record the other person on another track.

Re: Record 2 inputs with USB mic
That's not entirely true any more. I can't find it now that I want it, but the latest services have something called... maybe "composite microphone?" "Conjoined Microphone," something like that. It allows you to plug in two microphones into different USB ports and they will arrive at Audacity looking like one microphone.
I'll look some more.
