Hi,
Our VoIP telephone system requires on hold music in a certain format.
Ideally, the file needs to be in a WAV format, 256kbps, 16khz, 16bit, mono. Whenever I try to save a WAV file like this from Audacity - it sets the bit rate to 352 kbps...
I cannot seem to find a setting to change the bit rate down to 256... Is this possiple in Audacity? - and, if so, can someone tell me how to do it.
Thanks in advance...
Regards
Paul Adams
Export WAV as 256kbps, 16 bit, 16 khz, mono

Use Audacity 1.3.9
Set the project rate at 16kHz
Make sure that the show is mono, if not, convert it to mono
Export the show as 16 bit Microsoft PCM
