how do i combine two tracks into one?

It depends on exactly what you're trying to do. Could you be a little more specific? Do you have two mono tracks that should be the left and right channels of a stereo track? Do you have 2 stereo or mono tracks that you want to mix into one track?

BTW, are you sure you're using version 1.2? The answer may depend on which version you're using.

Yes I am using 1.2.6. I want to combine tracks together because they are taking up too much space. For example see the picture. Thanks.

The command is Project > Quick Mix. First select the three tracks by clicking on the track panel of the top track then shift-clicking on the track panels of the next two tracks. Quick Mix will mix (combine) the three tracks into one, deleting the three tracks and leaving the mixed track.
