Still need to delete .05 seconds of track

Hello, I'm new to the Audacity program. I have a song that I am trying to delete a verse from because the song is too long and the verse isn't needed. (not that this was the important part of my problem ) My problem is that I have deleted the verse except in order to make the music match up correctly I still need to delete .05 seconds worth of track but I can not seem to select just that .05 second section. Is it possible or can the program only pick out a certain position in the song? Thanks in advance even if there is no way to accomplish this. Or maybe there is another program that can be used for that exact of a modification?

You should be able to select down to one digital sample. My piano track is sampled at 48000, so I can manage times down to 1/48000.

Make sure 'Snap To' hasn't been selected at the bottom of the window.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for the quick response Koz. I think I may of had the snap-to turned on. It worked perfectly. Thanks for the advice. The song is much better I think with the one less verse.
