Hello all,
Audacity crashed and now I have no aup file. I recovered all the data files, 300 plus of them. I wish to join all these tracks together and am wondering if there is a way to do so other than edit>cut edit>paste? I would really appreciate the help, I'm new to Audacity and we were recording a conference and many people need copies of this speaker.
Any help would be fantastic.

Those data files are not sound files and they can't be cut and pasted. They contain audio information and all the other data that Audacity needs to construct the project. The aup file tells Audacity how to do this.
