I'm not able to record sound from a DVD that is played through the onboard sound that uses a standard sound jack. When I hit the record button while the DVD is playing so I can capture the sound, the equalizer stays flat.
I have tried:
edit>preferences>audio i/o>playback>realtek HD output
edit>preferences>audio i/o>recording>realtek HD input
edit>preferences>audio i/o>'checking' software playthrough
I've also tried to update the sound drivers, but it looks like I had the newest available.
My PC is definitely powerful enough to run this app:
Intel E8400 cpu
2gb ddr800 ram
on board sound
Windows XP Pro sp2 (32-bit)
Any help is appreciated,
Andrew
