Serato to Audacity recording help (PC)

I am using audacity to record a mix tape or live set from serato on my computer. I have my DJM 400 aux outs going to my headphone jack on my dell inspiron 1521(the same laptop I am running serato). I have set all the preferences correctly I believe but am getting no recording on audicty. Can anyone help me out!

You have connected outputs to outputs? Why?

I have connected my master outs on my mixer to my Line in one my computer.

Ah, that makes more sense.
Forgetting about Serato for a minute, can you record anything in Audacity?

I play my track in serato and nothing is being recorded as i record in audacity. I am thinking that there is something wrong with the way i have set up my recording preferences. Can anyone break that down for me?

Forgetting about Serato for a minute, can you record anything in Audacity?
