Roy,

(WMP = Windows Media Player - sorry for the acronym).

You have transferred this project from being a 1.2 project to 1 1.3 project - using 1.3.9 still right?

Do you still have the original project or have you either deleted it or never saved it? If so can you still open it up and play it end to end?

I also assume that as it was from LP you could, if necessary, recreate the project in 1.3.9, right?

You have exported prviously a set of WAV files, correct? What happens to each one of those when you try to play them in Windows Media Player? The fact that you have 9 extra files is a strong indicator that you have extra/extraneous labels (which is why I asked the question earlier).

BTW - have you read the Tutorials on the Wiki:

http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php? ... ate_tracks

Hi W.C. I have found the answer to my Export problem. You asked me to look for more than one label per track. Well, I have looked again and found a very small label box, with no typing in it, at the start of the typed one, on the tracks that didn't play. It was so small that I completely missed it the first time. I have deleted them, and all my tracks now play. Many thanks for all your help! Roy
