blue snowball mic??

yaa i'm trying to use my blue snowball mic for audacity and it won't record off it, i think it's because my computer won't install the mic in. but i'm not sure...does anyone know how to get the blue mic to work for audacity or for my computer for that matter...thankss

The microphone mounts itself as a sound device and you may need to select it in the Windows control panels.
After that, go into Audacity Preferences and select the same thing for Recording, plus change to 44100, 16-bit, Mono. That's important because it you use Stereo, Audacity will not recognize the microphone.
