Hi,
im not sure if this is even possible? i dont have a record out or booth out on it (pioneer DJM300) - i have a master out, L and R for both channels - so 4 inputs. i bought a twin RCA - mini jack (6.5mm) lead, and have connected two of the 4 inputs at the back of the mixer into the line in on the pc. when recording, nothing is coming through.
im sure this is a simple case of me not understanding the connection properly. do i need a different cable, or an amp/speakers to connect from the PC instead?
cheers

Re: connecting to 'master out' on a mixer, no speakers
Three problems and counting.
The connection to a PC is a 3.5mm stereo plug. The adapter for this (never having seen the mixer before) is RCA (white and red) to 3.5mm stereo plug, similar to this...

The Plug goes into the Line-In of your Deskside PC or Mac (generally not PC laptop) and the RCAs go into the Line-Out, Main-Out, or Mixer-Out of the mixer.
You have a PC Laptop, right?

Hi,
"The connection to a PC is a 3.5mm stereo plug."
oops - sorry, i actually do have that, mis-spelt the size!
would the headphone in be classed as the line in? as there isnt a separate line in (the green port is it?)/there are no coloured ports.
none of the volumes are muted. still get nothing from the mixer though.
