I got GT Player Express with my M-Audio USB interface.
GT Player Express has five VST effects I can use live as virtual stompboxes and configure onscreen.
My Audacity library has dozens of VST effects. I get that some of these aren't meant to apply effects realtime, but some can.
Is there other free software that'll let me play my guitar live through an on-screen stompbox chain of my VST effects?
