I'm trying my best to do something that "the other guys" can do..
I have a 2 hour WAV audio file.
I want to "mark regions" then output each of those regions (automatically) to MP3 files.
Is this possible? Thanks.
How can I "mark" and output as chopped up MP3s?

While your show is on the timeline, set a label at the beginning of each song. In Windows, Control-B. Then File > Export Multiple. That will give you a pile of individual files. It's possible that 1.2 will only let you export WAV files that way. Audacity 1.3 will let you export MP3s.
