Hello,
I tried to record 3 channels audio using Audacity but I don't get any for third channel.
My audio device is M-Audio Fast Track Ultra. I asked M-Audio guy. He told me DirectX dosen't support multi-channel recording and suggest to use ASIO driver.
But I checked Audacity and I didn't find ASIO support.
I would like to know it's possible to do multi-channel recording by DirectX and What device support DirectX multi-channel recording?
Best regards,
Daniel wang

Re: Help, multi-channel recording problem
Audacity doesn't directly support ASIO.
There has only been one posting of someone who succeeded in getting multi-channel to work.
