Hi!

I have odd problem on audacity when I record my electricguitar. The guitar is (dunno if I use the right words here, cause I'm finnish) "attached" to my computer with amplifier cable (I have an adapter). Anyway. every time I record something long and constant (like chorus or something), the in coming sound is getting "quieter" if you know what I mean :D. At start the sound is fine but then it quiets down. But then again when I keep a little "pause" the sound is again fine untill (if it's long sound) it quiets down ;D hope you understood my problem cause I really need help with this.

This sounds like a sound card setting.
I'm guessing that your computer has an "on-board" sound card and there is a hidden setting in the sound card control panel that is adjusting the recording volume according to the input level. This is sometimes called "Automatic Gain Control" though the setting may be called "Noise Reduction", or "Echo Cancellation" or something else. Whatever it is called, you need to switch all of your sound card effects off.
