Controlling Input Volume
I am transferring both vinyl and cassettes to MP3 Files. How do I control the volume so that the input levels are the same from both sources?
Re: Controlling Input Volume
You'll have to control the volume from the outside of the computer to get that to happen.
But you don't really need to do that, you can just highlight everything once it's recorded and use the Effects -> Normalize function to get the peaks of each clip at the same volume level (the volume might still be a little off, but that's what the mastering process is for).
