Audacity Forum

Have iPhone 3G and Zune 120 Gb, and 600+ music video downloads from iTunes and Zune Marketplace both, my problem is, when I tried use Audacity to change the format and bit rate for cross playing on the two device, quite a lot of them can even not be imported, some are single songs, some are whole albums, checked and noticed most of them are .m4p .m4v .wma .wmv files, that's wired , anyone share some lights?

Audacity 1.2 has no idea what any of those file types are and all the Audacity versions are terrible converters. Get Super or Switch (or the conversion program of your choice) and convert to WAV before Audacity.

I think Audacity 1.3 knows what WMA is. Audacity 1.2 has no idea.
