low volume of recorded sound
While recording to audacity using my mini disc the volume is perfect however, when I play what I just recorded I can hardly hear the audio. What do I do?
Re: low volume of recorded sound
You probably have the monitoring settings if your sound card driver software set at full volume, but your recording volume is probably turned way down (either in Audacity or your sound card driver software).
Turn the recording volume all the way up and what you record should be the same volume as what you are monitoring (provided the monitoring volume is also turned all the way up).
In Audacity, the recording volume slider is at the top and has a microphone icon next to it. I don't know what your driver software will be like.
