audacity and vista

I have been bought for my birthday a USB turntable. It is an Ion. I am using Windows Vista Home Premium as my operating system. Will Audacity work with Vista and is there anywhere anyone can suggest for me to visit to learn how to make this thing work

Audacity 1.3.8 works with Vista, but, read this before installing:

Start with the links at the top of this page "Tips" and "Tutorials".
There is a tutorial specifically about USB turntables. (and a tip from me - always connect the turntable before you open Audacity)
