Downloading Audacity Stable to Windows XP

Every time I attempt to download Audacity Windows Explorer blocks. I have disabled most security features but with no effect. Please explain as to a novice.

Go to this page: http://audacityteam.org/download/windows
"Right Click" on the link for "Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista: Audacity 1.2.6 installer (.exe file, 2.1 MB)" and select to save it to your Desktop.

Does it download?
If not, are there any error messages (if you are using Internet Explorer there may be a warning at the top of the web page).

If it does download, double click on the downloaded file to install.

To install "LAME" (so that you can Export MP3's) see this page:
