How can i get the bass to play trough the subwoofer?
I make my own backing tracks and I have recorded some bass lines using a digital RCA voice recorder but they only play trough the mid-range speakers.how can I get it to play through the sub? Do I need to record them differently?

How is your bass connected? Audacity generally only plays two audio channels at once. You can have one channel of bass or stereo mids. Or one channel of bass and Left.
This could work if you have a sound system that automatically splits bass off from the main show and sends it to the bass speakers. Then you would mix the bass track with the main show -- or just play the tracks stacked one above the other and they will all play at once, assuming you don't have anything muted or soloed.
