Please forgive me if this question has already been addressed on the forum - I am brand new to Audacity and look forward to learning it's benefits. I'm interested in recording /audio only songs off of YouTube videos and burning them to CD strictly for my own personal use.Does "Audacity" provide the capability to make that conversion fairly easily so that such CD compilations can be burned?

Thank you for any help or guidance you can provide!

You can take this in steps. Some Windows and some computers allow you to change the sound panels to allow internet recording. Sometimes it takes hardware.

After you capture each song, you can do editing and production in Audacity and then Export as WAV to get a sound file.

After that, use the CD authoring and burning program of your choice. Later Windows Media Player programs will do that. iTunes, Easy CD Creator, Veritas, Nero. Audacity doesn't burn anything.
