I can't seem to play, record or get any sound out of Audacity what so ever. I have a Gigabyte MB

However, I can get other software to work, I have Winamp and that plays and I record using an ASK bar recorder, its the only one that I have found that records the BBC radio4. Its notthe only software that does not work, therefore it has to be software. Can anyone assist here?
