Tried both 1.26 and 1.38. The vocal portion of the recording is much lower/subdued than it was on the original LP. Tried ampify, adjusted bass boost, everything seems to adjust entire recording equally. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

So you recorded the record to your computer? How did you do that? What equipment did you use?
What do you listen to the original vinyl with?
What are you listening to the computer recording with?
Any other information that may provide a picture of what you are doing?

If the vinyl recording sounds OK, properly balanced, but the capture is out of whack, then there is damage somewhere in the system.

Play that and make sure only segment four sounds weird or coming from behind you -- or worse yet, vanishes. It's 38 seconds long.
