Recommendations?
I can't get Audacity to work with LAME, nor any advice on how to do so. Does anyone have any recommendations for a paid audio voice recording program than can create MP3s. Thanks.

Re: Recommendations?
If you're determined to throw up your hands. I really like my older license for Cool Edit which was the basis of Adobe Audition. I have both licenses. Highly recommended.

Re: Recommendations?
Thanks for responding. What really irks me is that it was working yesterday! I can't even download the 1.3 version -- I get an error msg. And the LAME site gives me a 403. And I am not getting any help re how to fix any of this fro the forum. So I guess I need to pay for something..... What do you think of Propaganda? (http://www.makepropaganda.com/products.html ) All I want to do is create simple podcasts in MP3 format. I've worked on this issue for 6 hrs today. I really appreciate your taking the time to help. I'll look into your suggestion too.

Re: Recommendations?
Did we insist you go through all the Windows craziness with defag, error check, and capacity, etc. etc. In other words, if you have a suddenly insane machine, that sound an awful lot like a driving filling up.
Error 403 is a permissions issue. "You don't have permissions to access these files..."
That's very strange....

Re: Recommendations?
Yeah, strange it is. I just de-fragged and tried the usual suspect reboot solution. No change. Then CA anti-virus gives me the EFW extension sted .exe and it took me a while to solve that one. What a day. Something wrong with this computer, but I don't have time to fritz with it -- a client awaits. I guess I'll try Propaganda -- looks good for my purposes: http://www.makepropaganda.com/products.html
