Audacity Forum

I have version 1.2.6 installed on Windows XP SP2 system.
I have my turntable (T.90 usb) connected via USB cable to my computer and I am able to record but I cannot hear playback while recording or after I have saved the project.
I can hear the saved .WAV or .MP3 file using windows media player but no sound when using Audacity.

Any ideas?

Edit > Preferences > Audio I/O and select "software playthough"
Also check that the Playback device (on the same tab in Preferences) you have your sound card selected and not the Microsoft Sound Mapper or the USB device.
