Export to MIDI???

How do I export a captured audio file to MIDI, if at all possible?
Audacity doesn't speak MIDI, but more importantly, MIDI isn't a sound file. A MIDI file is a series of instructions how to play a note, how loud, by which instrument, and for how long. Each MIDI file can instruct 16 instruments at once.
You can change any of the numbers. I have played piano rags on the cathedral organ, just by changing a number here and there in my MIDI sequencer.
When you download a MIDI file to your computer, (usually) the sound card generates the instruments according to the MIDI instructions. The song could sound completely different on a different sound card.
