I will definitely look out for 2.0. It is just that I have an immediate need to make a voice recording (my first experience with recording) and the use of the expression "completely stabile" is something to be devoutly wished for.

I will probably wind up trying it.

I'ts software - there is no such thing as "completely stable" - it's a fact of life

So even 2.0 when it comes will still have the odd bug that has not been found yet. Be brave, give 13.8 a try ....

I realized the silliness of that statement as soon as I sent it...I will try the download later although I don't see why that would work when the other didn't but then again this is mostly mysterious for me anyway

I tried to download the 1.3.8 version with the same problem. No automatic download from any source/mirror. Wish I knew why I'm having this download problem.

What web browser are you using?

Have you tried downloading from the "direct link" on the download page?
