Hi,
I have imported a 65mb .wma into audacity and cut the piece I needed to edit. I then saved the project and exported it as a .wav. When I go to play the new edited piece I am not getting the song but a much shorter high pitch screech.
How can I listen to the edited playback while editing.
Could you please advise me where Im going wrong.
Thanks
playback issue

Ummmm. You can't play the saved project or the wav file? Both?

Audacity doesn't support .wma files. You'll have to find a different piece of software to convert them to a format that Audacity does understand (usually wav or mp3):
