I tired this without seeking help and all I got was the same that I was trying to convert.
The Olympus vn-3100pc Digital recorder records some sort of audio data file that is a .wav, BUT it is not compatible with that a CD player will play.
Any suggestions?
TIA,
Jonathan

Is this is question about Audacity?
The files from that digital voice recorder are probably ADPCM files (technically .wav, but non-standard). Audacity can import them, but only if you use Import Raw. I don't know of any CD burning software that will burn those files directly, you'll probably have to convert them.

Thanks.
Yes, it's about Audacity.
Someone told me that Audcaity could be used to make the conversion.
Thanks, again.

Ahhh. Generally it can, but some of those digital voice recorders make files in a strange format that Audacity doesn't understand. And even if Audacity will load the files, it's going to take a lot of work to convert a large number of files.
In any case, you'll save a lot of time if you can find an automated converter for that type of file. But I don't know of any. Maybe Olympus does?
