Hi!
I hate to post anything but I've been working on this for over 3 hours and can't find what it wrong.
I have the shure mic, the shure x2u thing that plugs into my usb port. I installed "end it all" so no other programs are running. I installed the mp3 converter thing, works fine, I can export the mp3 files and play them. My computer isn't an issue either.
When I record I can see the Audacity screen moving, I can hear myself (my headset is plugged into the x2u). When I play back the screen looks like there might be sound but no sound. I checked my speakers on my computer they are working. I can export the file to an mp3, no sound there either. This last time when I "recorded" I put all the volumes to the max, did everything again, and when I played you could hear a little static that's it.
I have checked the stereo setting per the manual (which I printed, all 150 pages because I thought I was missing something).
This is driving me crazy. What am I missing? PLEASE someone tell me. It's 2 AM and I've been doing this for hours and can't figure it out. THANKS!!!!

This could be a version of this problem. The solution is the same.

Koz... I can finally go to sleep knowing I can finish this important project!!
I couldn't get any driver solutions anywhere, but if I unplug the thing from my computer I can hear what I recorded in the playback, that seems like a major hassle though for all the money I paid for this equipment.
Thank you...... thank you..... thank you...
