Hello
Can anyone out there help me? I am trying to record from an internet site into Audacity so that I can edit. Every time though I am getting my voice being recorded through the computer microphone instead of just the internet sound. How do I turn this function off so I can just get the dedicated internet soundtrack?
Thanks in advance.

You've probably got the wrong input select in Audacity.

Open Audacity and click Edit -> Preferences -> Audio I/O tab. In your Recording Device drop-down menu you should have Stereo Mix (or Sum, or Wav Out, etc).

The name of that input depends on what your sound card driver is calling it, it varies from driver to driver so I can't tell you exactly what it will be.

This wiki page has a bit more info on the topic:

If you've got Audacity setup right and you're still hearing the microphone, then you'll need to go through the Control Panel -> Audio setup software and make sure the mic isn't set up to be monitored. You didn't say which OS you have, but that link has some info for both XP and Vista. Let us know if you need any more help.
