Clear sound to little or no fuzzy sound
When I try to record, Sometimes it works fine, but most of the time, the sound the program records is very fuzzy/jerky, or it doesnt pick up at all. Anyone know a cause, and fix for this?

Without a lot more information it could be anything. Start by describing your set-up (make/model numbers are good). What's connected to what? What are you trying to record? The more detail the better.

This may not help, but having used audacity for years, almost every problem I've had that was similar to your's was due to my microphone.
Do you have a different mic that you can input with?
