Recording not right
I had Audacity on my desktop computer and it worked great. I recently bought a new HP laptop with Vista. Every time I record music on it the waves show but when I play back it's really soft, sounds like a skipping cd and fades in and out. I expect it has something to do with my built in laptop and mic. I've tried turning off the mic and just leaving the speakers on but it still does not work. Any suggestions?
